Origin.  Right, now we've covered why I don't plan on getting into Battlefield 3, let's move on.

I, like many (some?  anyone else?  no?  ah well) of you, should return home tonight to find a copy of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 sitting on my doormat.  Unfortunately, I'm not going to have much time to play it this week thanks to work, social engagements and having to install a SSD before I play it.  The weekend is where it all begins and I'll be trying to get through the campaign as quickly as the repeated cutscenes of my character returning from unconsciousness will allow before I hit the multiplayer side of things.  Proper dedicated servers should be bringing an interesting twist this time around, although by all accounts these are unranked so you may have to put up with matchmaking lumbering you with irritating teenagers with no social graces.  I'll be trying to get my usual COD crowd out and about for the banter (and in some cases the cannon fodder).  Hopefully I'll see a few of you out there!
